Alison Kenward Dressage
I am a Dressage Rider and I enjoy Coaching Competition and Leisure Riders. I have played A Grade Polocrosse before my love of training horses lead me to the Dressage Arena where I have competed up to Advanced Medium level. I have competed at National level with Jack and Sebastian with highlights competing in Dressage to Music and riding for England at the Amateur Home International. My current horse Neptune and I have begun to compete at Medium level.
I am a British Horse Society Accredited Professional Coach. I hold the Stable Manager’s Certificate, Senior Coach, UKCC3 Generic and List 6 Judge. I am a Centre10 Advanced Coach, British Dressage Recognised Coach and a National Development Programme for Coaching Excellence Graduate. I hold an HND in Equine studies with Estate Management and am a NZEF Community Coach.
I enjoy connecting with Riders all over the world and use the Ridesum App to Coach remotely in live sessions both in and out of the saddle. I Coach through digital seminars and enjoy online discussions and learning opportunities.
Social Media inspires me to be creative in my conversations and the way I share stories and insights has evolved with me now able to offer a full range of digital courses. Short open access courses sit well alongside longer courses where Coach contact and conversations form the framework for guided study and reflection.
I offer online courses on a wide range of topics including The Equestrian Athletes Programme for both dressage and jump riders, a dressage programme for everyone Feel Good Dressage and my 12 week programme Rider With A Plan, your arena side companion to enjoying your schooling sessions complete with video explanations, floor plans and direct contact with me.
Find Me On Social
I am active on Social Media with a daily Coaching message on my Facebook page AlisonKenwardDressage
I have curated a clothing collection with Equestrian Athletes branding. Have a look at my shop, part of my Rider Development Club because when we wear great clothes we feel good and this helps us to ride better.
My Coach Story
I began coaching with The Pony Club and started my BHS Exam training at Greenacres Riding School in Puxley. Later I trained at Brampton Stables, Wellington Riding and Gleneagles.
My love of horses has taken me on lots of adventures competing and coaching. I’m particularly proud of the time I spent working in New Zealand and my own sporting career with Dressage Horses Jack, Sebastian and Neptune.
I am delighted to have been awarded Centre10 Runner Up Coach of the Year and to have been nominated for a U.K. Coaching Hero Award.
