Celebrating 10 years of creating an Equestrian Advent Calendar 

My first version was a collection of training tips as I began to have fun with social media. The following year I decided to prepare ahead and wrote a blog with a daily coach tip that I went on to share with my riders and followers. Some of my favourite themes over the years have gone on to become short courses and mini books. I’ve written about Freestyle, The Scales of Training, Horse & Rider Wellbeing to pick out a few topics. I’ve enjoyed writing them all. Some years, like life I’ve been more prepared than others..one year, with inspiration striking mid June, I wrote myself a note feeling relaxed that I would have a very calm November / December only to realise in panic around Halloween that I’d lost the notes and forgotten my outline. Not this year. I knew I wanted to make a special celebration calendar. This year I’ve finally come close to realising the vision I had at the start before the tech to bring it to life became affordable and intuitive enough for me to “make it work”. 
This year the content will live a little longer as I’ve curated a series of micro blogs that make it possible for me to have a calendar that allows readers to click on the image of the door in order to open the door each day and watch a video..
