How to Publish Your Course Online

coaching Aug 10, 2024

Set out a storyboard for your course. How many elements, chapters or workbooks make up the course? What type of media files will you share? Do you have video, audio or do you want to coach live elements? Do you want a mix of interaction with your students? Will you record all or part of your course? Have you conducted any market research to explore what your audience is searching for? Do they favour podcasts or are they looking for live group seminars?
Let’s pause a moment to look at the tech tools and programmes that can help you create a positive learning experience. Pivo Pod allows you to create content with its robot camera whilst Pivo Meet allows your rider to film themselves and send you an invitation link to watch and coach live online. You can record a variety of content with your phone though you need somewhere to store your files to save your phone’s memory.  Creating written learning resources can be simplified by using Canva and templates. Canva is great for creating social media graphics too. For simple video editing projects I use the Inshot App.

There are several options for websites where you can host courses. I choose Kajabi because it’s so much more than a website platform. I can also run my community, live coaching sessions for individuals or groups and promote as well as deliver my coaching courses and memberships.
