HORZEHOODS® Horse Riding Leggings Review

I’m in my second winter without wardrobe worries thanks to HorzeHoods! I wrote in an earlier blog  about my introduction to leg wear that changed the way I viewed my riding clothes. I have since added a large collection of different colours and fabric weight so I’m spoilt for choice all year round.
The one thing to know is that the team know what they are doing when they describe their breeches. So for winter, trust in their ultra heat breeches. I don’t know how I survived having cold legs from my pony riding days until the launch of the Performance Collection in 2023. Now I have discovered that winter is over when I’m content to wear my everyday ContraFlex leggings. Remembering the carefree days of summer when I start thinking about finding a cool shady space and pretending I’m not secretly longing for Autumn I must tell you about the summer collection from last year. Now I did need to take a leap of faith because when they arrived I found it hard to believe that such a slip of lightweight fabric would give me the confidence I’ve come to rely on. It was just so hot and I thought I have to try. They were a total joy. Almost enough for me to long for the type of weather that calls their name. I sat tall in the saddle, my legs felt protected and cool, there was no sense of vulnerability and I still felt like a rider! 

The right clothes should make you feel as though you sit just a little taller in the saddle. HorzeHoods leggings are my must have.
